Embark on an exhilarating hike. In the heart of Chile’s wild Patagonia region, this is the perfect place to explore the breathtaking surrounding lakes, mountains, glaciers, and forest.
Experience ‘forest bathing. Popular for many years in Japan this practice has found its way to these forests. Take in the sights, sounds, smells, textures, and emotions that the environment brings out.
Offering boat excursions to nearby landmarks on the lake, including Catedral de Marmol (Marble Caves) and Baker River, this is not to be missed.

Meet Paula, the owner of Mallin Colorado. She is passionate about travel and is fluent in 3 languages.
Sharing good food, wine, and adventure stories around the fire, Paula welcomes her guests as good friends.
‘We’re running a reforestation project here. We’ve 500 hectares of land surrounding us, so we are replanting native species that need many years to grow. We’re also developing private trails which are open to both guests and the local community.’

Need to Know
This special eco-lodge provides the perfect opportunity for a digital detox. A chance to reconnect with nature and get back to you. There is no television and expect a weak internet signal if any.
Mallin Colorado is closed between the dates from 1st June to the 15th September every year.
The lodge is located 5 hours away from the nearest airport. But the journey is so worth it!

Location
Set in the Aysén region of Patagonia in Chile (in the southern part of Carretera Austral), Mallín Colorado Ecolodge is surrounded by exquisite nature.
Overlooking the General Carerra Lake, the largest lake in Chile. It is secluded from any nearby towns or cities, providing the perfect destination to relax in.
How To Get There
The nearest airport is Balmaceda Airport, which is a 5-hour drive. The lodge owner recommends taking an early flight in and the last flight out the day you checkout.
