    "Impeccable service"

This hotel is magnificent in its interior architecture, cleanliness, service, comfort and quality of the food. There are no negative aspects. Wines are majority Austrian with a good Italian selection. We have been travelling a lot in our life and this 4-star hotel has earned its 4 stars and much more. We highly recommend it!

    "Excellent hotel "

The hotel is excellent. The rooms are large; walls, floor are made by local wood and stones. Very large, clean bathroom with separated WC. There is a spa and an external swimming pool in a natural context. Free parking place in front, if it is full there are other places nearby to easily park the car. Location is very good for skiing in winter or walking/trekking in summer.

    "Excellent stay"

It was our third summer holiday at this hotel. Matrei gives access to the Hohe Tauern National Park, with stunning scenery and excellent walking possibilities, as good as anywhere in Austria. Food was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. We had one of the larger rooms on the top floor with a great view down the valley.
